There are no dedicated / Bank ATM's available. Although you might be able to use credit cards at certain hotels/locations, CASH is definitely more reliable. Purchasing pesos in the States and having them ready and on hand for your trip is the best way to go.
There are phones available at "Deposito Lizeth" where you can make calls to the states. Satellite service is used for this puporse so expect small lags when speaking back and forth. The calls are charged by time usage so keep this in mind.
There is no hospital in Bahia de los Angeles, but there is a clinic located near the South end of the Police Station. The nearest hospital is in Guerrero Negro, 2.5 hours to the South in Baja California Sur.
