Whalesharks are the largest fish in the ocean. These harmless, gentle giants of the sea frequent the waters of Bahia de los Angeles during the warmer months of the year, arriving generally in late June, and departing in early November. There are regulations in place to help protect them, such as keeping a certain distance both by boat and in the water.
